Beautiful Amalfi Countryside
Trails of the Amalfi Coast

I loved the walk north of Amalfi along the stream and past the ruins of old watermills. And visiting Pompeii was very special.

Plenty of highlights but a tough, gruelling trip
The Great Southern African Camping Safari

For me, the highlights were the desert scenery around the Sesriem camp, the wonderful wildlife we saw on the Chobe river cruise, and the authenticity of the wildlife walks in the Okavango Delta, although I would have liked less emphasis on big game animals there and more on reptiles and invertebrates.

Amazing Variety
Himalayan Foothills Spiritual Discovery Tour

Meal with local family, visit to the Chidrens home, forest walk, Eco lodges & WAH Tea Estate, the wonderful scenery in the foothills of the Himalayas. Need to be adaptable.

Great cycling, outstanding scenery
Balkan Trilogy Road Cycle Tour

This is a demanding cycle trip involving significant climbing every day so make sure you are fit. The payoffs are empty roads, amazing scenery and some long descents. This was the best cycling holiday I have done, notwithstanding some sub-par accommodation in Kotor.

High Atlas Trek
Across the High Atlas Trek
I found this a tough trek, more demanding than others I have completed of a similar grade. I think this was due to the continuous nature of the trip - 18 days without a rest day or particularly easy day in hot conditions with a great deal of up and down. However, it is a very rewarding trek walking in a wilderness area - we met few other hikers in the first 14 days - with a colourful landscape, 3 or 4 peaks, and passing through remote Berber communities. We were well supported by our ... Guide, Mohammad who willingly shared his knowledge of the area and its people, and a hard working Cook and crew to look after the mules; all of whom felt very much part of the trip. Highlights included:
- The ascent of M'Goun. Despite being on only the third day of the trip everybody acclimitised well and enjoyed the long ridge to the summit
- The silence of the wilderness and the fantastic night skies; stars everywhere and the Milky Way.
- The ascent of Jebel Anghomar with its extensive views.
- The Gites we used providing a bit of comfort and a hot shower to break up the nights of camping.
- The colours and variety of the landscape we passed through.
- Perfect conditions for an ascent of Toubkal at the end of the trip.
So many good memories though did finish very tired, having picked up a cough, and opted out of the final 4,000m peak. Because of the availability of water some days were quite long between breakfast and lunch and although, dates and figs were a welcome part of trail mix, I would certainly recommend taking a stock of energy bars.

Brilliant holiday
Hike and Bike Highlights of Lanzarote

Great guide who made the trek and biking very enjoyable and his knowledge of the island and its history was breathtaking. The breakfasts and different lunches/picknics every day was great. Big thanks to Erik!

Beautiful and interesting country. Good food. Lovely walks. Great guide.
The Lycian Way

Walking was as I expected, ie quite demanding for me but within my capability. Guide paced himself well. The description of the walking on the website was accurate. Our guide changed our plans suitably when we had bad weather.

Everything went really smoothly
Hike and Bike Highlights of Lanzarote

We felt really lucky to have had Erik as our Tour leader. Nothing was too difficult for him, his knowledge of the island was amazing, he couldn't do enough to help and made our holiday very special. Balance of activities was really good, perhaps it was not as leisurely as the grading indicated but nevertheless we thoroughly enjoyed it.

A well organised and varied trip to a beautiful country.
The Druk Path Trek

Good communication before the trip. They went out of their way to secure a place for me on the trip and kept me updated regarding available flights and alternative options.

It is genuinely difficult to imagine how a trip could be better than this one
Victoria Falls to Cape Town
We joined as a family (parents with a 19 year old) with a bit of nervous anticipation! One of our group (an incredibly well travelled 74 year old) was doing the trip for the second time and claimed it was the only trip he had ever wanted to repeat. Perhaps this is the strongest indication of just how extraordinary a trip it is. The cycling was pretty challenging at times but the ever changing landscape, wildlife and interactions with local people more than compensated and the 'once in a ... lifetime' experiences happened day after day.

The overall distance covered during this trip is vast (~4000km, 1000km of them cycling) but the trip schedule is well optimised and the transfers mainly fall in the afternoon after having cycled through the morning.

The trio of guides (Charles, Rea and Kelvin) were nothing short of world class, taking account of the challenging environment, four countries, the food and travelling logistics. Their hard work and dedication enable this complex trip and they continue to strive to improve it. The schedule is tight at times but through sheer organisational skill and the drip feed of important information, it runs smoothly. The food was abundant, varied and brilliantly prepared with the adjustments to what the group preferred, in terms of vegetarian / fish /meat.

The flashbacks prove what an awesome adventure it was. From the majestic Victoria Falls through safari lands of Zimbabwe and Botswana, the desert landscape of Namibia, the mesmerising night skies and then the green vegetation and blue oceans of South Africa. It is surreal that a trip begins with elephants and ends with penguins. After nearly 3 weeks on the road with a bag full of dusty clothes, Cape Town is a perfect finale and another mighty contrast.

Madeira is a beautiful Island
Levada Trails and Peaks of Madeira
This was my 1st trip with KE Adventure following a recommendation from someone that did this same tour to Madeira. I arrived a day late in Funchal along with a few other people in our group, due to weather conditions preventing us from landing on Day one. Aside from this, I really enjoyed the trip and the itinerary each day. The group dynamic was nice and everyone got on really well with each other.
Our guide Nuno is very knowledgeable, well organized and an excellent leader. The included
... food was all very nice. The walks each day were varied and offered great views. I didn't find them particularly difficult. Unfortunately the day we were meant to do the 2 big peaks, the weather was really bad and too dangerous so we did an alternative lower level walk which was still enjoyable.

Ultimate Albania Cycling Tour

You felt looked after. The food was excellent and you had plenty of it. The guide attended to our every need. The trip was a mixture of exercise and learning about the culture of Albania. it was good to have time to visit some uniseco sites.

We had a wonderful trip
Walking on Santorini & Naxos

We really enjoyed the Grand View - easy to walk into town (Megalochori) with excellent restaurants. Great access to walks. The bus was easy to navigate. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Would be helpful if we could have upgraded the ferry trip to Naxos and a room upgrade with a view but overall a wonderful trip.

Vamos Aha!
Choquequirao to Machu Picchu

Stunning views and scenery. Rudy was a fantastic leader with his knowledge of the area and history of the Inca life. He made everyone feel included and ensured we all got up the mountains. The food was excellent and how they cooked all the food on 4 gas rings is mind boggling. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone capable of the big climbs.

Varied and interesting itinerary
Sacred Summits of Olympus and Meteora

Meteora was delightful and exceeded my expectations.
The time spent on Mt Olympus was magical..... even in poor weather. The pace of the trip is just right and is interesting for the entire duration. The hotel accommodation is good and the refuges are cosy and have a good atmosphere

Fantastic trip
Walking Camino - The Portuguese Way - 2 Weeks

Brilliant accommodation (some had swimming pools), luggage transfer worked perfectly, the route is clearly marked with arrows and shells and the trails are beautiful. Not brilliant for vegetarian, but that can't be helped. Loved every minute of the whole trip. The only problem now is I want to do it all again! 🤣
