KE Adventure Travel has been operating active adventure holidays throughout the world since the mid-80s, and has grown to be one of the most respected adventure tour operators in the UK, and a market leader in this sector. We offer small group walking, trekking, climbing, cycling and family holidays throughout the world, as well as self-guided walking and cycling trips in Europe. We operate in 90 countries worldwide, including the UK.

The office is in beautiful Keswick in the Northern Lake District. Keswick is a small town with a big personality – not only do we have easy access to the Lake District fells, we also have an abundance of pubs, restaurants and the award winning Theatre by the Lake. Whinlatter – perfect for keen mountain bikers – is just up the road, and the local passes are a great challenge for any adventurous cyclist. The lake (Derwentwater) is perfect for swimming, paddle-boarding, canoeing and kayaking. The west coast mainline stops at nearby Penrith (30 minute drive), making London just over a 3 hour journey by train.

The KE team are widely travelled, but love the Lake District life. Anyone joining the company is likely to be well travelled, active and passionate about adventure travel and the outdoors. They must also be dedicated to protecting the environment and supporting the company’s mission to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the coming years.

We believe that travel is a force for good if done well. All members of the team travel on KE holidays on a regular basis, to enjoy, to learn, to meet customers, and to ensure that we have first-hand experience of our wide range of adventures. 

Do you have a passion for digital marketing and a love of adventure travel and the outdoors? We’re looking for an experienced fixed term Digital Marketing Manager to join our busy, friendly marketing team and help share the word of our adventure holidays to relevant audiences.

You’ll manage our SEO and our PPC campaigns and will be instrumental in driving online conversions and sales for the business. You’ll have a digital marketing qualification and experience in managing and working with a variety of digital business tools such as Google Ad Manager, GA4 and Semrush. You’ll be a people person, able to establish good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You’ll be commercially astute with excellent organisational skills, as well as being a confident content creator and communicator. We’re ideally looking for someone to take the role on full time for one year, possibly with the option to extend.

We are recruiting ideally for a full-time fixed term role for one year, possibly with an option to extend, and with a hybrid mix of office and home working. We may consider slightly reduced hours for the right person.
