Just what I wanted it to be. A big doable challenge with great climbs, scenery and local culture. I was the only English member of the group, but this meant I could expand my French and German and learn a lot about different countries.

Tolga is an excellent guide, very knowledgeable about flora and fauna and passionate about showcasing his country. He communicated the plan for each day clearly, paced the hikes and rest stops perfectly. Nothing was too much trouble for him, he even arranged a visit to a Turkish hamman for members of our group who wanted to visit one. He was cheery and fun to be with as well.

Our guide Tolga is possibly the best tour leader I have ever had. He's a walking wikipedia on almost any subject. Wildlife, geology, culture, history... Very friendly, helpful. Speaks very good English.

Our leader Onex was a straight pro. Great leader of his team. Helped us all settle in well. Amazing judge of our pace so that we all summitted together.

Well organised, safe and highly enjoyable trip. Great bunch of fellow hikers made the experience. Massive thank you to Onex, Joseph (Cute one!), Joseph, Reuben, Richard and all the Porters etc for getting me safely, and comfortably, to the summit!

Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Good, well explained itinerary which reflected the trek and an excellent guide. Bruno - an excellent, excellent guide. Kept a really nice pace, took breaks in all the right places. Full of information regarding the mountains, wildlife etc. Very easy to get on with. Just sound!

This was my very first time traveling on a group tour and I was so pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Anne was the perfect guide, and KE staff Aaron was a joy to have along. Rating and descriptions were accurate, accommodations were pleasant.

The guide was excellent. All was well organised. We learnt a lot and had a great time! We had a lovely time with lovely people in a part of the world we knew little about previously. We loved the guest houses in particular and appreciated the fact that all our hosts were local.

Very good trip, enjoyed it all even the camping! Nice staff especially the camping crew. The walks were varied and interesting. Even though it was a big group we didn't seem to be too far apart. Every one was good fun and nice to travel with like minded people.

The treks to Picos de Europa and Kazakhstan through KE have been excellent - guides and leaders + support team have been brilliant and supportive. Very well looked after.
