The sparsely populated inland, dotted with villages, provides a tranquil cycling experience amid Lebanon's rugged interior. The route encompasses the Lebanon Mountains, reaching over 3000 metres in the north, passing through ancient olive groves, cedar forests, and the agricultural Bekaa Valley. Highlights include the Arz-Oyoun Pass, Mzaar-Kfardebian ski station, and Lake Qaraoun with views of Mount Hermon.
